The House

Please note that the house itself is residential and usually in use by the owners. Some parts of it however are occasionally accessible and available for use by prior arrangement.

From the outside the house is a white, pebbledashed, semi-detached country cottage that was built sometime in the 1930s. There is a drive off the road, a front lawn, and several flower beds that are slowly being brought back to their former glory.

Inside, the decor has been deliberately kept with an early to mid twentieth century feel, and is often described by visitors as somewhere that Miss Marple might make an unexpected appearance! The dining room has a wood burner (which can be lit on request), whereas the front room is more of a media room with television and a stereo system complete with turntable*.

The bedrooms upstairs are generally not available for use as a location. However if you have a specific requirement then please discuss this with the owners as we may be able to accommodate you.

Facilities

Toilet and kitchen facilities are available in the house.

*Note - the turntable is NOT available for customer use.
